Examples of Typical Grades
I did the best I could to give examples of each grade. Grades are subjective to the point
that one person's Ex+ could be another person's Nearmint. I feel that sets and cards should
be graded by listing typical flaws and not so much by arguing over whether a flaw is near mint
worthy or not. Does a blunted corner drop a card out of near mint range? Who cares? The main
point would be to make sure that the blunted corner is called out so advertising a set as Ex+ is
not as meaningful as saying, "the set has the following possible flaws and make sure pictures of
the typical flaws or of the actual cards are provided.
